Family Practice Locum Job in Chicago, IL

SHIFT DETAILS : 

• -All outpatient 
• -Hours:
• Monday, Wednesday & Thursday – 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Tuesday & Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday – 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• *These are the clinic hours. The candidate will only be required to work 40 hours within the week and one Saturday a month.

WORK DETAILS : 

• -Patients per day: 24-26 patients per day 
• -EMR: Athena 
• -Case/Procedure Experience: They will be seeing patients age 0-99 
• *If they can't see peds that may be okay (not preferable though) because there is someone else who can help with peds. There is not someone to help with geriatric, so they have to be comfortable with the older patient base.  
• *There is a lot of chronic illness 

Practice Setting:  

• -The physician will work with two MAs. One will cover their inbox (charting, follow up calls, results, etc.) and another will help with rooming patients 
• -There are some NPs who have their own panel of patients who see 18-20 a day  
• -Generally, the providers come in at 8:30 and don’t see patients until 9 
• -Lunch is from 12-1 
• -Have a 20-25% no show rate because of the patient population 
• -Integrated with BH and dental services are on site  
• -Lab and radiology is off site 

REQUIREMENTS : 

• License Required:  License is required, will not license 
• Credentialing Timeframe: 45+ days  
• New grads? No, will not review new grads
• *please let me know if they speak Spanish. Not required, but is preferred.
