Emergency Medicine Locum Job in Antigo, WI-$325 Hourly

  1. Active Board Certification: REQUIRED
  2. Active Certifications: ATLS ACLS, BLS, PALS: REQUIRED
  3. WI License or IMLC or willing to accept obtaining the WI license: REQUIRED
  4. Supervision of APP's: REQUIRED


Job Description


  • Define The Number of Support Staff to Be Supplied For The Locum Coverage: RN: 3 MA: 1
  • Is Resident or Teaching Supervision Required? No PA/NPs: 1 Office Staff: 1
  • Provider MUST be proficient in placement of or procedures such as intubation, central lines, chest tubes, LPs.  
  • Act 10 license/waiver is acceptable.
  • There are times when we are asked to precept 2nd or 3rd year residents.  These situations are not often.  Perhaps every 3 months or so.
  • Urgent Care is adjacent to ED, and is staff with 2 - APCs and an RN. 
  • You are not required to cosign their records, however you are a resource for them and if a patient needs to be upgraded to ED, they will give you report and the patient will be moved to ED.
  • There are minimal times there will be an APC in ED proper, but due to staffing this is not an everyday occurrence.
  • Rounding Patients :  N/A
  • Number Of Patients Per Shift : 20
  • What Trauma Level Is This Facility? 4
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe (Days): 90
  • Are temporary privileges available?: No
  • Is Hospital Stroke Certified? Yes
  • Beds In Department: 10
