ENT/Otolaryngology Locum Opportunity in Pennsylvania

Need coverage for provider going on leave. Full time Jan-Mar 2025. 

Need provider to cover 24/7 on call as well as seeing patients in the office Monday through Friday and/or conducting surgeries at UPMC Williamsport Same Day Surgery. 

Support APP's in the office with any questions that may arise during the course of the day or consult on patients. 

Start date will be around the beginning of January with provider due to go on leave around January 7th and will end around the end of March 2025 dependent on when provider goes out on leave. We need someone capable of doing at least general ENT cases but will need to oversee nosebleed patients, packing removals, trach care for patients as well as nasal fractures and abscesses that present to the office or hospital.

# Providers Needed: Enough to cover 3 weeks per month from January to March

Type of Practice: Free-Standing Clinic

Provider would see patients in the clinic between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Would provide general ENT care as well as see patients that require surgical intervention. These cases would be scheduled between Monday and Friday within the ENT block time. 

On call response would be 24/7 while they are here and can include in person consult as well as e-consults. Provider would be working with APP's in the office and consulting on cases. Appointments in the office

would be scheduled in 30 minute time slots unless an overbook is needed to work an urgent patient in. These are discussed with the provider.
