Interventional Cardiology Locum Opportunity in Pennsylvania

Coverage Details:

• Coverage needed per month: Thursdays from 7am to Fridays at 7am and one weekend a month Friday at 7am through Monday at 7am

• Frequency of any Call needed: Call will be for IC only during this timeframe

• Schedule Details: Coverage of cath lab and intervention and general call during this time

Work Details:

• Support staff: Cath lab

• Department Description: 2 Cath labs/7 bay PCU

• Patient Age Group: 18+

• EMR/Documentation System: Epic

• EMR/Documentation system experience – required or preferred?: Epic

• Special Procedures/Unit Details: left heart cath, right heart cath, PCI, STEMI

• Special Equipment Used: Xper monitoring system, GE x-ray equipment, Acist, IFR and volcano equipment, ballon pump (IABP) and shock wave

Requirements:

• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: Yes, intervention

• State License(s) / IMLC Req’d?: Yes Pennsylvania (no IMLC)

• Certifications Req’d?: BLS/ACLS

• Specific Skills Req’d?: Prefer radial access as primary with occasional femoral

• DEA Req’d?: Yes

• Minimum Experience Req’d: 3-5 years

• Are vaccines mandatory?: Flu

Privileging Timeframe: 45 days
