Trauma Surgery Locum Opportunity in Ohio

Facility is looking for additional APP providers for the Trauma Dept. Willing to accept NP or PA.

JOB DESCRIPTION : 

• Hospital-based - Level 2 Adult Trauma Center
• Inpatient
• EMR: Epic 
• APPs not utilized in OR as the first assist
• Will be working autonomously, but attending trauma surgeons in-house 24/7 and always available if needed
• Must have experience working on trauma service with trauma surgeons as an admitting service, not just ED.
• They need critical care experience, too. Although not operating, they still need to have experience working on trauma service line, not just exposure in ED or managing critical care from a medical standpoint.
• Will not function in an OR as First Assist.
• All ages through ED as trauma alerts; only admit 16 and older; peds are transferred out
• Local candidates given priority.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS : 

• Board Certified - Required
• Active OH license - Required
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS - Required
• FCCS - Highly Preferred
• Experienced in Trauma Surgery and Critical Care, no new grads - Required
