Schedule:

• Call Coverage: Begins urgently on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 7:00 AM and continues on an ongoing basis. Specific call schedule details will be provided.
• Clinic: 2-4 hours per week dedicated to surgical follow-up appointments. Specific clinic days and times are to be determined.

About the Opportunity:

Hospital is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon for ongoing Locum coverage, beginning with immediate call needs on May 22, 2025. This opportunity involves providing orthopaedic call coverage and participating in brief weekly clinic sessions for surgical follow-up patients. We are looking for a proficient and independent surgeon to help us meet the needs of our patient population.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing comprehensive orthopaedic call coverage, including managing emergency and urgent orthopaedic conditions.
• Conducting surgical consultations and providing treatment recommendations.
• Performing necessary surgical procedures as required by call responsibilities.
• Conducting brief (2-4 hours per week) outpatient clinic sessions for post-operative surgical follow-up.
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records in the MEDHOST EMR system.
• Collaborating effectively with hospital staff and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in AZ.
• Experience providing orthopaedic call coverage and managing a variety of orthopaedic conditions.
• Familiarity with patients who have CELAN histories is highly preferred for earlier coverage dates.
• Excellent surgical skills and clinical judgment.
