Hematology Oncology Locum Opportunity in Arizona

Specialty: Medical Oncology

Start Date: asap

Contract Length: up to 6 months.

Shift Details: 3-4 weeks per month

Schedule (days and hours):

3-4 weeks per month + 1 weekend of call per month.

Monday through Thursday 0745-1630

36 patient contact hours + 4 hours admin time on Fridays 

Work Details:

· Support Staff: clinic nurse, nurse navigator, medical assistant, office coordinator, clinical oncology pharmacist.

· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month:  2 weeks per month.

· Patients per day: 15

· Patient Population/Age: adults older than 18

· Department Description: 

· EMR: Cerner

· Hospital Bed size: about 90

· Special Procedures: none

· Skills Required: medical oncology experienced.

Practice Setting: (select one)

• Clinic/Private Practice with one week on call per month to include inpatient coverage. 

• Hospital

Requirements:

· Board Certification:  Board Certified

· License Required: AZ license required. - IMLC Only

· DEA: required.

· Minimum Experience Required: 3 years.

Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
