Position: Locum Tenens General Cardiologist (Long-Term / Full-Time)
Location: Walla Walla, Washington
EMR: Epic
Start Date: November 30, 2026 (Ongoing Assignment)
Credentialing Timeline: ~90 Days (Clean files preferred for smooth processing)
?Schedule & Shift Breakdown
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8-hour daily clinic schedules within a 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM window)
- Shift Commitment: Full-Time (Minimum 4 weeks per month required for a long-term commitment)
- Call Rotation (2 Weeks On-Call per Month):
- Week 1: Full 7-Day Block — Monday through Sunday (Weeknight + 24-Hour Weekend Beeper Call)
- Week 2: 5-Day Block — Monday through Friday (Weeknight Beeper Call)
Clinical Scope & Procedural Preferences
- Coverage Type: Outpatient General Cardiology Clinic + Inpatient Consult/Call Coverage
- Clinical Skills: General Non-Invasive Cardiology required
- Preferred Procedural Skills: Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiology skills preferred (Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization capability preferred, but not strictly required)
Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements
- Board Status: Board Certified (BC) in Cardiovascular Disease required (BE not accepted)
- Licensure: Active Washington State Medical License or active IMLC (Compact) license & Active DEA
- Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
