  • Non-Invasive Cardiologist (Hospitalist role)
  • Needs to be licensed to read Echo, Cardiac Nuclear, TEE, Cardioversion
  • * Nuclear Board Certification is not needed for this position; however experience with cardiac nuclear medicine is needed.
  • Expected start date: expecting to submit for an expedited credentialling, so WA license and DEA must be in hand.
  • Reason for opening: Gap in coverage
  • Type of privileges (clinic/hospital/both): Both (During a recent interview the department said they were looking for outpatient coverage primarily not inpatient) 
  • Setting:  Inpatient, Outpatient or Both? Both, looking for inpatient support with no outpatient clinic needs.
  • If Inpatient, # of beds: 247
  • Call requirement: Yes, on average 1:6
  • Rounding, admissions, or none? Rounding and admissions.- The only admits we do are STEMIs (a couple a week) the rest are consults and follow up rounds
  • Patient demographics: Adult
  • Average patients per day: 14-16
  • Required Procedures: Cardiovesions, TEE's
  • Required clinical activity in the last 24 months (case logs): Applicant must provide documentation of provision of cardiovascular disease services representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months. 
  • Will provider work solo? If not, other providers specialties working with them: Yes, they have an ARNP every day/all day except Sunday in the hospital with the Gen Cards Doc. The only admits we do are STEMIs (a couple a week) the rest are consults and follow up rounds
  • Licensed Candidate: Preferred to have WA license and DEA in hand *WILL ACCEPT IMLC and WILL ACCEPT Non-Licensed as of 2/24/26
  • Required certifications (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross as applicable): BLS, ACLS
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Any past Locum provider you would like to use? None
  • Additional comments: The primary focus will be hospital based support.
