Description

Medical Center Emergency Department needs coverage starting July 1-September 30th.

Anticipated Procedures/Surgeries per Week: Average 34 hours/week (will vary)

Description of Work Assignment: Emergency department shift work

Schedule of Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours: Variable – shifts at 7am, 10am, 2pm, 4pm, 11pm

On call? no

Procedures Provider Will Be REQUIRED To Perform: Standard emergency procedures per credentialing pathways, including endotracheal intubation and central venous access, other resuscitative procedures

Patient Load: 1.5/hr

Board Status Requirement (BC/BE): BC/BE Emergency medicine – yes required

Certifications Required (i.e., BLS, ACLS, PALS) Not required if BC/BE emergency med

Define Surgical Staff Structure: n/a

Define Support Staff Structure: n/a

Are there APPs? If yes, will the locums provider be responsible for supervision?Yes
