Infectious Disease Locum job in Charlottesville, VA

Schedule: 

Coverage Details: 

1. Coverage needed per month: full time Monday – Friday  

2. Frequency of any Call needed: none 

3. Schedule Details: Mon – Friday 8a-5p

Work Details: 

4. Support staff: nursing – front desk (attendings and fellows that see patients) 

5. Department Description: working along side other providers seeing only HIV patients in clinic setting 

6. Patient Volume: 40 per month -  Thursdays are busy with 10 patients,  Tuesdays 5 patients and other   days vary and patients are established. 

7. Patient Age Group: adult  

8. EMR/Documentation System: EPIC 

9. Special Procedures/Unit Details: no procedures 

Requirements: 

10. Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: IM/ would like fellowship trained in infectious disease but not a requirement just need experience and with HIV patients 

11. State License(s) / IMLC Req’d?: VA 

12. Certifications Req’d?: BLS HIV Care is preferred 

13. Specific Skills Req’d?: seeing HIV patients 

14. CSR Req’d 

15. DEA Req’d – yes 

16. Minimum Experience Req’d: would consider out of school ( have attendings and fellows in clinic) 

17. Are vaccines mandatory?: Flu during flu season – COVID is lifted 

18. Additional requirements/details to screen for?: someone that has experience with HIV patients 

Privileging Timeframe: 60 days – Med staff orientation to start is 3/3 or 3/17
