Neuro Hospitalist Locum Opportunity in Texas

Job Details & Schedule

• Specialty: Neurology – Neuro Hospitalist
• Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
• End Date: January 01, 2027 (Coverage needed through December 2026)
• Coverage Type: Inpatient 24-Hour Shift / Call Only
• Shift Models Available:
• Weekend Coverage (Saturday – Monday)
• 7-Day Block Coverage (24-Hour Shifts)

?Clinical Scope & Patient Workload

• Daily Census: 8–15 patients per day
• EEG Interpretation: Required to read their own EEGs
• Procedural Support: Interventional Radiology (IR) team is available on-site to handle Lumbar Punctures (LPs)

Requirements & Credentials

• Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE)
• Life Support Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, BLS
• Licensure: Active Texas (TX) state license required (Existing hospital privileges are a plus)
• EMR System: Cerner
• Credentialing Timeline: 60 Days
