Gastroenterology Locum Job in Seneca, SC

SHIFT DETAILS : 

• Monday-Friday 8a-5p, no nights, no weekends, no calls
• Schedule Details: Monday through Friday, 7a-5p, no call, no weekends, no inpatient. 

WORK DETAILS : 

• Frequency of any Call needed: No call
• Support staff: They will have support staff in the department
• Department Description: Outpatient only
• EMR/Documentation System: EPIC
• Special procedures?: None
• Procedures :
• In the AM they will be in the office doing outpatient and the afternoon until 5 will go to the hospital and see inpatient consults and procedures, as necessary.
• No after hours nor weekend call at the site.
• 1 Physician in practice, 2 mid-levels.
• No lab or X-ray on-site. Office staff; 2 CMA's, 2 RN's, 2 Registration Staff, 1 Office Supervisor Outpatient/Inpatient Experience Required Upper GI Endoscopy - With Biopsy - With Foreign Body Removal - With fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser) - With Banding of Varices - With PEG (preferred) Esophageal dilatation/manometry Small bowel biopsy Lower GI endoscopy Sigmoidoscopy Colonoscopy - with biopsy - with excision of polyp

REQUIREMENTS : 

• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC in Gastroenterology required
• State License(s) / IMLC Req’d?: SC license highly preferred
• CSR Req’d?: Yes
• DEA Req’d?: Yes
