Radiation Oncology Locum Opportunity in Ohio

Overview

• Specialty: Radiation Oncology
• Dates of Coverage: December 25, 2026 – December 31, 2026
• Clinical Shifts: Dec 27 – Dec 31 (Sunday – Thursday)
• Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour clinical days)
• On-Call: None
• Orientation: Required prior to Dec 27 (ideally the week before)
• Credentialing Timeline: Expedited (20 Days)

?Requirements

• Licensure: Active Ohio (OH) license or IMLC compact state qualification
• Certifications: Board Certified (BC), ABLS, BLS

Clinical Practice & Workload

• Volume: 7–10 patients per day (mix of new consults, follow-ups, add-ons, and urgent visits)
• OTV: 1 day per week designated for On-Treatment Visits
• Coverage Type: Outpatient Clinic Only
• EMR / Systems: Epic (Hospital EMR), ARIA (RO Treatment EMR) — completely paperless & filmless

Facility & Equipment

• Accreditations: ACR, ACoS, HFAP, NSABP (Breast Center), QOPI (Med Onc)
• Simulation: Siemens SomaTom CT Simulator (2015)
• Treatment Machines:
• Varian TrueBeam w/ CBCT, VMAT, & The Edge SRS Package (includes Vision RT/OSMS)
• Varian Trilogy w/ CBCT & VMAT
• Elekta-Nucletron HDR with Oncentra

On-Site Staff & Services

• Clinical Staff: 1 Clinical Manager RTT, 1.6 RadOncs (0.6 vacancy), 1.6 FT RN (OCN), 0.6 MST, 2 FT Physicists (1 vacancy), 2 FT Certified Medical Dosimetrists (CMD), 5.4 Staff RTTs
• Support Services: Research & Nurse Navigators, In-House Pharmacy, Palliative Care, Spiritual Care, Financial Counselor, Medical Nutritional Treatment
