Hematology Oncology Locums position in Albany, NY where outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding and weekend coverage is needed. Here are some of the details:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday 8-5
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: ***Must meet ALL requirements in order to be considered for submission.***
- Board Certified - Required
- Fellowship: Required
- NY license only - Required
- ACLS: Required
- Supervision of APP’s: Required
- Bone marrow biopsies: Required
- CLEAN Malpractice Record: Required
Practice Description:
- Outreach to neighboring clinics is required
- 1:6 weekend call
- 1:6 call: Call coverage at both hospitals
- Patients per shift: 15
- Department sees most hematology/oncology patients (Community based center), and bone marrow biopsies can be completed right in the Cancer Center.
- The providers will consult both ambulatory and hospital patients.
- The Cancer Center has 18 Chemo infusion chairs as well as 2 non-chemo infusion chairs.
- Patient Population for Required Coverage: 18+
- Number of Physicians in Practice: 3
- Will There be Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage? yes we have 4 full-time Radiation Oncologists
- How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 5 full-time APs
- Clinical Area: Hematology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology, Inpatient Setting, Hematology
- Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): Community Hospital
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 1 month
Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $500 hourly
