Locums Hematology Oncology opportunity in St. Louis, MO paying $500 hourly where Outpatient coverage with weekend call is needed. Here are some of the details: 

Start Date: December 20, 2024- January 5, 2024

Shift times/Dates Needed:  

• Clinic- Monday-Friday: 8-4
• Call @ hospital for onc/hem consults
• 10/31/2024 to 11/11/24 
• 12/18/2024-01/07/2025

Candidate Requirements: ***Looking for a provider to cover all dates. ***

• Board Certified or Board Eligible: REQUIRED
• Active MO license or willing to obtain: REQUIRED
• Certifications- BLS: REQUIRED
• Availability to cover all dates: REQUIRED

Position Details:

• Patients Per Shift: 6-8
• APP Coverage: MA’s: 3, Office staff: 3
• Patient census per day on weekend call: 1-2 patients average daily 
• Any Acute Leukemia? Or Malignant Hem: Yes
• What types of patients would the locum be required to see: New Patient Onc/ Hem referrals 
• Do you require BMT or BMB to be performed by the locum: No 
• Who admits new patients: Hospitalist – The locum would be getting consulted. See them at the hospital inpatient, and initiate transfer if needed. 
• They would be interacting with our infusion center charge nurse with any questions regarding labs and/or treatments.
