Position: Locum Tenens Clinical / Procedural Cardiac Electrophysiologist (EP)
EMR: Epic (Must have active experience within the past 12 months)
Start Date: ASAP (Latest start: January 2027) — Ongoing Assignment
Credentialing Timeline: 45–120 Days
??Schedule & Shift Breakdown
- Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour paid workday with an automated unpaid 30-minute lunch; overtime highly unlikely)
- Shift Commitment: Must be able to cover two Mon–Fri 5-day stretches per month (10 days/month total)
- Coverage Type: 100% Outpatient Clinic & Hospital Procedures (No Call / No Weekend Work / No Holidays)
- Assignment Horizon: Long-term commitment required (Minimum initial commitment of 6 months)
Clinical Scope & Procedural Mix
- Clinical Split: ~60%–70% Outpatient EP Clinic | ~30%–40% EP Lab / Procedures
- Procedural Capabilities:
- Included: AFib ablations, standard EP ablations, and device implants
- Excluded: No VT ablations, No PVC ablations, and No Lead Extractions
Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements
- Experience Requirement: Minimum 2 years of post-fellowship clinical/procedural EP practice experience
- Board Status: Board Certified (BC) in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Technical Tech Stack: Recent hands-on Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months required
