Position: Locum Tenens Remote Overnight Diagnostic Radiologist
Location: Remote (Facility in Michigan)
EMR / Systems: Cerner, Sectra PACS, PowerScribe Dictation (Workstation provided)
Start Date: ASAP – April 1, 2027
Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 Days
?Schedule & Shift Breakdown
- Shift Times: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM EST (8-Hour Night Shifts)
- Coverage Type: 100% Remote Emergency Diagnostic Radiology (No Call / No Onsite)
- Volume Requirement: 2–3 weeks of coverage per month needed (Facility will consider providers offering 1 week per month; minimum commitment of 7 shifts per month)
Clinical Workload & Responsibilities
- Case Volume: Average 80–130 ED mixed cases per 8-hour overnight shift
- Academic Component: Overnight Resident Teaching required (working alongside 2–3 overnight radiology residents)
Qualifications & Mandatory Submission Requirements
- Board Status: Board Certified (BC) in Diagnostic Radiology
- Licensure: Active Michigan State Medical License required
- Malpractice History: Clean malpractice record required
- DEA & Certifications: DEA Waiver required (DEA license not required); BLS is waived for remote coverage
