Description

Position: Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist

Location: Michigan

EMR: Athena & Cerner

Credentialing Timeline: 60–90 Days


?Schedule & Shifts Needed

  • Coverage Type: Clinic + Call Coverage (Continuous 7-Day Blocks)
  • Confirmed Block 1: Nov 23, 2026 (8:00 AM) – Nov 30, 2026 (8:00 AM)
  • Confirmed Block 2: Dec 21, 2026 (8:00 AM) – Dec 28, 2026 (8:00 AM)
  • Ongoing Need: Additional 7-day block rotations continuing into 2027


Scope of Work & Clinical Expectations

  • Standard IR Procedures: Bread-and-butter interventional cases including biopsies, dialysis access, and drain placements
  • Vascular Interventions: Peripheral vascular (PV) thrombectomy, as well as venous and arterial thrombolysis
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Strong preference for candidates who can interpret vascular ultrasounds


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Board Status: Board Certified (BC) in Radiology / Interventional Radiology
  • Licensure: Active Michigan State Medical License required
  • Certifications: Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
