Pulmonary/Critical Care Locum Job in Elizabethtown, KY

Facility is looking for Part Time Pulmonary Physician to support open shifts due to Vacation coverage.

Shifts: 

• 06/23/2025 through 08/03/2025 to work the below weekly shifts
• June 23-29 and July 28-Aug 3 (7a-7a Monday to Monday)

Description : 

• 24 hr shifts on identified weeks. 
• Privileges available: Full Privileges
• Other job post notes: Due to June start date KY license is required to submit
• 24-hour call to include patient rounding, and onsite patient care
• Volume: Patients seen can range from 20-50 and can vary vastly per day.
• Support: there are AP’s  to support the physicians on site
• Call Volume: Call is only from the clinic and is minimal, likely to receive 1-2 calls per night 
• Locums will do pulmonary consults during the day and be on call during the evening.
• The schedule will be to report on site to the hospital around 8 am to see patients and do hospital rounding for an estimated 8 hours and then be on call during the evening.  The schedule of consults will be provided so they are aware of scheduled visits for onsite reporting schedule.
• Beds: 300

Submission Requirements: 

• Accepted Credentials: Physician (MD/DO)
• Board level: Pulmonology Board Certified Physician
• Required Certifications:  BLS, ACLS, ATLS, DEA Certification, other:
• Required Experience in: Chest tubes, intubation, a-lines, central line placement, bronchoscopy with and without ebus, thoracentesis, paracentesis, pleurX drains, and ION robotic bronchoscopy. Intubations, a-lines, central lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bedside bronchoscopy
