Emergency Medicine Locum Position in Henderson, KY paying $350 hourly where Emergency Room coverage is needed. Here are some of the details:
Start Date: December 2, 2024- Ongoing
Coverage needed: Locum will need to remain flexible for shift coverage needs as they will utilize the locum for what is best for their needs on the dates the Locum is able to provide. We are looking for 2-3 candidates.15-28 shifts available across all campuses including IN.
SCHEDULE : ***Prefer Candidates that can cover 5-7 day stretches at a time.***
- 6am-3pm
- 2pm-11pm
- 10pm-7am
- 10am-7pm
Submission Requirements:***Must meet ALL submission requirements in order to submit***
- Board Certified EM or FM only: REQUIRED
- If EM Boarded only NIHSS: REQUIRED
- If FM Certified: ACLS, PALS, ATLS and BLS: REQUIRED
- Licensed in KY or willing to obtain - REQUIRED
- KY DEA: REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice Record: PREFERRED
- Minimum 2 years experience: REQUIRED
Practice Description:
- Average number of patients per physician per day: 15-18/day; Average patients per hour: 2
- Staffing Model at Location: Single Physician coverage w/APP support 12 hours
- Hospitalist admits patients with the specialist as a consult.
- Number of ER rooms at Henderson: 17
- Number of hospital beds: 81
- Annual Volume: 25,000
- 4-8 weeks timeline for credentialing with CLEAN record only.
- Providers must be able to do the following procedures with supporting logs: Breast Cyst Aspiration, Central Venous pressure catheterization, Endotracheal intubation (20 cases for past 24 months), Lumbar Puncture, Nasal Hemostatic Packing-Placement of Anterior & Posterior, Paracentesis, Suprapubic Bladder Aspiration, Thoracentesis & moderate sedation.
