Hospital is looking for an Infectious Disease provider to help with coverage starting in February.
- Outpatient Clinic/Hospital-based. Locum would start at 8am and end at 8am the next day. They will cover hospital on call overage and any office calls after hours. Provider MUST be willing and available to cover BOTH inpatient and outpatient.
- Call Ratio: 4:1
- 100% adult, 25% Geriatric
- 15-20 ppd, upwards of 30 when covid spikes
- 3 physicians within group
- EMR: Epic - MUST have Epic experience
- Community based practice. This practice manages complicated diseases with compassion and clinical expertise. The providers specialize in the treatment of HIV/AIDS and are also known for expertise in fungal infections, bone and joint infections and a range of unusual and complicated infections. The goal of the practice is to assure patients have a positive, healthy experience. Practice is consultative in nature; Physicians and NP sees both inpatients and outpatients.
- Doctors participate and direct hospital's Infection Prevention, Infection Control, and Sepsis Programs/Committees. NP may be asked to participate as needed.
- Pathology are basic cases you would expect in a hospital of our size including HIV, MRSA, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, septic joint, meningitis, diabetic foot infection, bacteriema, and abscesses.
Credentialing Timelines:
a. Payer enrollment: 90-120 days from receipt of Demographics, IN license, IN Controlled Substance Registration, DEA w/IN practice address, and signed enrollment forms.
b. Hospital Privileges: 45-60 days from receipt of complete CVO/CPI Portal Application.
