Hematology Oncology Locums position in Longmont, CO where Outpatient coverage is needed. Here are some of the details:
- Schedule- All shifts are 7a-5p with 30 minute unpaid lunch.
- Dec 23, 24, & 26
- Dec 30, 31, Jan 2
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS : ***MUST meet ALL submission requirements in order to submit.***
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology - REQUIRED
- Active CO license - REQUIRED or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission)
- Active BLS, DEA - REQUIRED
- Candidate must be comfortable and willing to see Hematology patients - REQUIRED
- Must Have Availability for all Shifts Listed Above - REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice/background - REQUIRED ( Due to expedited credentialing)
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Required Procedures/Job Duties:
- Facility recently opened a new hematology/oncology clinic with a dedicated chemotherapy treatment space for patients to receive their cancer treatment.
- Coupled with our Breast Center, breast surgery capabilities, and our external beam treatments in radiation oncology, this role will be responsible for the treatment of hematologic diagnoses and medical oncology diagnoses in our cancer center.
- Physician will be responsible for clinic coverage and chemotherapy supervision.
- As a new clinic, this role is also responsible for building/growing this subspecialty practice.
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: MA, RN
- Census: Patient population, Adult, Geriatric; Number of beds, ; Admissions, Growing. Currently about 4 clinic patients per day.
