Emergency Medicine Locum Opportunity in California

Position: Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician (Urgent October Coverage)

Location: Eureka, CA

Start Date: October 9, 2026 (Immediate Fast-Track Start)

Credentialing Fast-Track / Temporary Privileges: Strictly requires a Clean File. Physicians with large settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions are ineligible for temporary privileges.

Onboarding Mandate: Paid facility orientation must be completed the day prior to the first scheduled shift.

Schedule, Shifts & Compensation Structures

• Coverage Type: Emergency Department / Inpatient Only (No Call)
• Specific October Dates & Shifts Needed:
• Night Shift (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM): 10/9, 10/10, 10/11
• Swing Shift (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM): 10/12
• Night Shift (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM): 10/22, 10/23, 10/24, 10/25, 10/26

Clinical Workload & Environment

• Patient Volume: ~110 patients per 24-hour period across the ED
• Privileging Standards: Completion of updated expectations form required upon confirmation
